P4L - The rule in the first post is that you "must say I nominate" before posting your nomination.

In your defense I assume that you, in fact, said "I nominate" before posing your nomination of Colgate vs. Lafayette. But like a Lehigh grad mumbling incoherently down in his sewer, if no one hears it, it doesn't count.

The lesson to be learned here, of course, is this: before posting your next nomination, you'll have to shout "I nominate" really, really extra loud at your computer screen so that there can be no doubt whatsoever that you said it.
