North Dakota State stays at #1 in the Gridiron Power Index (GPI), the index ranking for the NCAA Division I FCS and a top indicator of at-large playoff selection. The Bison have held the top spot since 2011. Villanova was the only team which dropped out of the top 10, replaced by Sam Houston State. Harvard was the only team which dropped out of the top 25, replaced by Central Arkansas. Central Arkansas also climbed the most of any team in this week's top 25, moving up six spots from 29 to 23.
