The Bethune-Cookman Wildcats (5-1, 2-0) continue to hold onto the No. 1 ranking after earning a victory on the road, 27-6, over the unranked Howard Bison (1-5, 0-3). But, the No. 2 Tennessee State Tigers (6-1, 3-0) continue to close the gap. The Wildcats lost one first-place vote this week, now have five first-place votes and 103 points in the week seven rankings.
