Am I reading that right??? Sam Houston is expected to lose to McNeese?

Of course, with that line, it's predicting a heck of a game!

The McNeese line was odd. Two others:

Southeast Missouri State +36
at #3 Eastern Illinois

Sucks to be a five touchdown dog on the road. But:

#10 Montana State -27 1/2
at Weber State

I can't recall many road teams being favored by 28 points this season - is it selective memory? (And I'll admit, even as a non-gambler, that still strikes me as one to take Weber beating the spread - I know Sac State laid a beatdown on them in Ogden this year, but they seem to generally be competitive at home despite sporadic fan support).

Fordham only by a TD at Yale? Sounds like the smart money senses another upset....

Stone Cold Lead Pipe Lock of the Week (by the way, Mike & Mike stole that from Tony Bruno who has been doing that bit since the 80's)...
#20 South Dakota State -1 1/2
at Missouri State

Take South Dakota State and give the points. Heck, if you can tease this to a touchdown for bigger odds, take it.

Wow tons of good bets. I would take a SHSU, SD St, Fordham, Coastal Carolina, EIU parlay this week. Though I'd consider replacing EIU (bc 36 points is still a ton) with one of the top CAA teams, particularly Nova or Maine. I'd expect both to win by more than those spreads despite decent opponents. Of course Weber St might not be a bad bet either.

Weird line for sure. I seriously doubt this game will be decided by less than 2 points (one way or the other)

I'll take SHSU on the ML, and Maine, Montana, & SDSU ATS.

6-2 with a 7.5 point dog winning on the ML the last two weeks, that's about a 5 unit profit, right?

5 wins on a 1.2 unit bet to win 1 unit

2 losses @ 1.2 units

1 win @ 1 unit bet to win 2.5 units

I like NDSU for the win here, but I think it will be closer than 9 points.

I'd almost take that MSU/Weber spread, because likely the Cats will pull their starters out before things get too ugly. And you never know, we might struggle on the road. But Ash generally doesn't pound teams into the dirt (except UND and PSU, sorry guys).

Problem is, we go to the run game with 3rd and 4th stringers, and our 3rd and 4th string backs, as well as our backup QB, are all capable of scoring on Big Sky defenses, even with bland play calling.
