I love that they are giving out 5000 maroon mustaches for their Homecoming game against NDSU.

All fans attending the game are encouraged to sport a mustache in support of SIU’s mustachioed head coach, Dale Lennon (http://www.siusalukis.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/dale_lennon_339324.html). On the Salukis’ last two road trips to North Dakota State, Bison fans wore fake mustaches to steal the power of the mustache from Lennon. This year the Salukis will try to take it back.

Not sure if Tatanka or by the student section because I'm fairly certain I've seen the big black paper staches on students faces since I was a freshman, and that was 4 years ago.


Nonetheless awesome to see it catch on. I lol'd reading that article

The power of the 'stache originated with TMWTFN and Roebuck...Both were/are assholes, while Lennon is respected by NDSU fans.
