(San Diego, Calif.) - USD senior running back Kenn James (San Diego, Calif.) was named the Pioneer Football League Special Teams player of the week for his performance in the Toreros 45-13 home victory over Mercer this past Saturday. James took back the opening kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown to jump start USD win over previously unbeaten Mercer. His 95-yard return for a score matched his personal best set two seasons ago against Davidson (10-1-11).
