#3...just like last week. After watching all 60 minutes, I won't punish UNI for taking the unanimous #1 to the 57th minute.

Towson (#2) did what they were supposed to do.
SHSU (#4) & EIU (#5) had a Bye.
Fordham (#6) & Wofford (#7) handled their biz as they should have.

**Rankings are from my AGS Poll submission.

#2. I don't understand how this loss could possibly count as a punishment. They played far better than I thought they would. North Dakota St. is just incredible, and UNI nearly won. I don't think any other team in the country would've beaten NDSU, especially on the road.

Gee, let me see.....football is 4 quarters. NDSU did not get 'outplayed' for most of the game. They played decent but not great.

The 2nd half the Bison used their best asset...the O-line, even with 2 starters out to pound the UNI defense.

Yep, stats.....take of DJs 85 yard TD run and UNI has barely 200 total yards...ummm.

I'd have a hard time believing there are many other teams out there better than UNI. I'd put them at #2. Despite what some Bison faithful post, Northern Iowa actually DID outplay the Bison for a large chunk of that game. Yes, turnovers helped with that, but turnovers are part of the game. Take away the 15-yd penalty after the incomplete pass on 3rd down and the Bison may not have won that game.

Don't get me wrong the Bison weren't firing on all cylinders, but let's credit UNI for a lot of that. But this group of players just knows how to win, despite not playing their best football. However, any team that can come in and basically be a penalty away from beating NDSU in that environment should be at #2.

They didn't feature him much at all in the 1st half. He only had 3 carries for 8 yards in the 1st quarter and only 3 more carries in the 2nd but for 88 yards and the TD. It was after halftime that he really started gashing the NDSU defense to the tune of 5 rushes for 45 yards and a 24 yard reception in the 3rd quarter. And then unfortunately for UNI and Johnson, he got hurt after that right when it would've been the best time to start feeding him. It didn't help that NDSU controlled the ball for the majority of the game so they also didn't have the volume of plays to get him the touches they probably wanted to.

I'm really trying hard not to get involved in the pi**ing match. UNI is a great team, and it was a huge win for NDSU. The story of the game is the fact that UNI recovered two fumbles on kickoffs...took over with the ball close to the redzone each time...and only scored 6 points on those opportunities. If UNI puts the second recovery in the endzone...it could have been a back breaker. They didn't get it done...end of story.

Quoted for truth. At least this week we actually got points out of causing a fumble on the opening kickoff. We didn't do a lot of things that could have won us the game. We didn't do them and credit NDSU that. Also gotta give credit to NDSU for getting it done when they needed to. That's a good football team. It is a tough way to lose a game, but on to the next one.

Yeah he appeared to have gotten hurt on the pass play that went down to around the 2 yard line. Like you said he was just getting going, and it hurt not to have him. Just one of those things though. We still could have won, but didn't do what we needed to do. Good game to the Bizon.

I have them exactly the same. Didn't move them up or down they are a hell of a team and will have a playoff run. Anyone playing them in the UNIDome in the playoffs is in for a hell of a game. Not sure how they are going to do defensivly without Farley but one player doesn't make a team. Hope Farley recovers and can play again he's a heck of a player.
