Cannot wait for kickoff! Lehigh definitely gel'ing at the right time. Both teams have shown incredible character throughout the season IMO. Should be an incredible game and as good a game day atmosphere as we have had at Rose Hill in years.

I do get the sense this is a statement game for Fordham. Yes, they beat Temple & Nova, but this is their chance to say we own this league now. I would love nothing more than to pull that rug out from under them Sat.

Tremendous game. Lehigh O the best I've seen us play and I've seen every Fordham game in person or on screen. Can't say enough about Coach Moorhead other than that we had better enjoy him while we have him.

Got back a short time ago from NYC. Pretty simple observations. With a team as talented as Fordham, you cannot commit turnovers that result in points. Two turnovers in 2:30 resulted in 14 points. Each time the D, though atrocious for a good part of the game, had finally made the needed stop and the opportunity was there to take the lead and shift the momentum.
Defensive secondary has major issues. Cardinal Sin: 20 seconds left in the half, how the heck can any secondary worth a grain of salt let anyone behind them?!!!!!!!!!That just blew my mind. Paris's muffed punt reception was Cardinal Sin #2. It was clear to the other 8,000 people there the punt was going out. Moreover he was looking into the sun which means he should have been even more cautious about trying to field it.
Fordham is an excellent team. The QB is the best we will see this year. To me he is better than Skelton. He has better mechanics, has great feet, and plays with great confidence. Koonce is also the shiftiest back we have seen, hiding behind his blockers and making great cuts. I thought we could have used Sherman more. He was very effective when in there. A tough runner between the tackles.
Not a devastating loss. One most people expected. I picked us to win by three by playing a near perfect game. It was far from that. Rams are well up in the top ten for me. I'd like to get another shot at them in November or December. By then our DC may have figured a few things out.

Agree n, BB's INT was the capper. 2ndary was supposed to be a fairly decent part of D given returning players. I'm getting the impression that Peter Principle is in effecr. Wilcher a very good DB coach and Roberts likewise as DL coach. First time DCs. Seems to me all 3 areas are suffering. Not all of this D this year is inexperience..

Parris made a mental error by even going for the kick that was heading out of bounds but compounded error by letting the ball go through his hands.
