Lennon-SIU He's been on the hot seat for a couple years now.
Allen-MSU Allen's team seem to play 6 FBS schools a year and in the FCS they aren't really horrible or uncompetitive, they just don't seem to be able to win.
Wolford-YSU Yes they are 4-1, but I could see another implosion this year, finishing 6-6 or 7-5 and out of the playoffs.

It'll be Sparky Woods if VMI finishes 4-8 or worse (90% certain that'll happen).

The Columbia blog is very unhappy with the 0-2 start because of high expectations going into this season. After the Monmouth loss last week, they're looking at an 0-10 season.

In the coach's defense, he lost his best QB (a transfer from Stanford) and best defender in the opener against Fordham.

Kermit the Blount at DelState should be on the hot seat, but luckily, DelState doesn't care about athletics (and that's not meant as a dig) and they don't have many fans to hold them accountable.

Christ
McCarthy

Both are "interviewing" for the H.C. job at Albany for when Ford retires this season. Both are failing miserably, though Christ seems to at least have some growth with the defense. A potential shoo-in set of candidates (if the school stayed in house) may be looking for new jobs next season.

From the SoCon I'd go with Higgins at the Citadel, given the general tone of the posters here, and especially after reading that the guys thought that the team wasn't playing hard and with heart- which the Citadel has ALAWYS done, even when they didn't have talent at all.

I'd say Huesman if Chatty limps home again and misses the playoffs, but for his ice to be thin somebody in Chattanooga would have to actually care.

You can't say Satterfield's on thin ice at App after just a handful of games but he- and the App faithful- can't be comfortable and must be concerned.

Lafayette fans will tell you Frank Tavani. Whether he actually is or isn't though, I'm not sure.

Frank is under contract through the end of the 2015 season. He was up at the end of 2014 originally, but recieved an extra year after the 2011 season for some reason.

Frank has lost 5 in a row to Lehigh, and is looking at his 4th losing season in a row. This season will most likely end with 3-4 wins and another loss to Lehigh. Very dissapointing considering we had almost everyone back from last years team. Frank's action or inaction will let us know if he will retire soon, or fight to get another extension. The staff as currently constructed just isn't working. We don't have bad coaches per se, but the mix of these guys together with the HC just seem incapable of producing a winning team. After the inevitable loss to Lehigh and 4th losing season in a row, Frank will need to make changes to his staff if he wants to survive. If he doesn't make any changes it tells me that Frank is done, and will be using 2014 and the game at Yankee stadium as his swan song. I believe the one year extension may have been some sort of parting gift all along, with the ability to complete the contract if the team was doing well.

I have no insider knowledge, but I believe the 150 Lafayette-Lehigh game at Yankee stadium will be it for Frank. A possible 7th straight Lehigh loss, a 5th losing season in a row and a beat down by Lehigh in the biggest game in many years will be too much, despite one more year on his agreement. I hope I am wrong, but I am not holding my breath.

John Lyons, the DC at UNH, although it wont happen. Anyone with a pulse knows how piss poor the UNH D has been over the last few years. Lyons has been as effective as our current government situation.

I also would like to voice my displeasure with Sean McDonnell for not being able to fix the situation himself. He is a legend around these parts, and gets the credit for the turnaround over the last 10 years, but i get this bad feeling that he may not actually have been the reason for the success...(Chip Kelly, Ricky Santos, David Ball).

Its easy to blame coaching after a tough loss against a team many UNH fans thought should have beaten easily. However, looking at a the resume over the last few years shows even more disappointment.

UNH isnt an NFL team however, so I expect 0 changes.

Lennon has another year on his contract and likely will be here next year. Of course sentiment may change after the upcoming murderer's row of the next three weeks: @SDSU, @UNI, NDSU. Most people don't trust the AD and would like to change them both.

Very well put, Lyons has to go but easily won't, and to be honest idk who is making most of the play calling but since freshman(now senior) year our play calling has gone downhill in my opinion. We also need to tell coach mac or the OC to stop going for 2. We don't make it half the time and it puts us in tough spots. Maybe if our kicker kicked more PAT's he might have confidence to actually hit an important field goal...

Good synopsis. Frank will never be fired. Age-wise, he can keep going for another 15 years if he wants. But he would have alot of gusto to ask for another extension. And McC would need a clue if he offers Frank an extension without any strings attached. Another listless beatdown in 149 should end it. But it won't.

I could see the Richmond fans getting tired of Rocco pretty quick. His teams have a history of failing to meet expectations.

The AD should not be held responsible for the performance of Columbia football. That's like saying the President is responsible for the state of the economy.

Not sure which will happen first: Cubs win World Series, Columbia wins Ivy football title, Armageddon.
