After a couple of good weeks of top 25 match-ups, there aren't great choices this week.

I second Coastal @ GW. GW has been the surprise team and Big South the surprise conference.

I nominate Lehigh at Columbia because it will be close game with Lehigh winning in the last minute or two of the game and then Lehigh fans saying this win should bump them up the rankings.

Yeah, otherwise I would have nominated EWU @ UND out of curiosity to see what kind of video game score EWU is able to put up :D (token UND "pot shot" quota hit for the day...I'm done :) )

Then I nominate Portland State @ Southern Utah.

PSU has played fairly well this year and SUU did beat a weak FBS team and it is in Cedar City. So it has the makings of being a good game.
It probably is not the game of the week, but it is worth mentioning, so I nominate it.

The Big South deserves a week to shine in the spotlight a little. Villanova vs Towson is a big game with two powers in a power conference going at it, but the big south is the often forgotten little brother.

I strongly urge you to all vote for the GW CCU game.

Isn't only one of those teams a startup? The other is a D2 team that moved up I think. HBU was already DI, ACU is a D2 team moving up. IIRC.

Wait, the "seconds" are the votes?!? No wonder the Confederacy failed, that's not Parliamentary at all! xlolx

Anyway if I am interpreting this correctly Nova should have 7 or 8, depending if the nomination counts and not counting VUCat bc he seems to have been too late. I only counted because someone said they were "eighthing" the game, I don't really care about my team's game being recognized as the one and only game of the week.

It was a screw up and got lost in the shuffle last week so the process was truncated. I'm running the new one to try and get us back on track going forward cuz citdog is doing a lot of stuff with the radio show and needs a little help right now.

I'm gonna close this one so as not to confuse with the one going on currently.
