Most of our teams have played in BCS or FBS stadiums that is a lot more than our home stadiums hold....what is the biggest crowd that your team has played in front of.

For North Dakota it was 2009 at Texas Tech 47,824

I know Appy's answer for both: 109,218 in Ann Arbor, 2007. NDSU, 63,088 in the same year in the Metrodome.

2012 Iowa 70,585 - tied for stadium record...70,585 is sell out and they never list higher
2009 Iowa 70,585 - tied for stadium record...70,585 is sell out and they never list higher
2005 Iowa 70,585 - tied for stadium record...70,585 is sell out and they never list higher
2008 BYU 64,108
2013 Iowa State - 56,800 - New stadium record. Any sell out from now on will be 56,800. At one point UNI had 4 of the 10 highest attended games in Jack Trice. They will alter their record books now to make sure UNI doesn't show up in the top 10. They despised that.
2007 Iowa State 56795 - previous stadium record all on it's own until this year
2011 Iowa State 54,672

Unknown for Lehigh, though I would suspect somewhere in the range of 40-50,000 when they used to play Penn State up until the late '30's or early '40's. In "modern" times, over 19,000 at Goodman for the first Lafayette game played there in 1988. Unofficial crowds in excess of 20,000 at Lafayette when Fisher Field was much bigger, and some close to 20,000 at old Taylor Stadium when extra bleacher brought in and seating in the baseball end for Lafayette.

Our comeback win over So Dakota State was a playoff game around Thanksgiving. As a result it had a smaller than usual crowd. I don't have official attendance but would guess it was about 21,000. For comparison the stadium holds just over 25,000. Your Rabbits were running all over us that first half and holding our offense at bay. Yet when we started coming back in the second half the stadium was rocking with the comparatively smaller crowd as animated as it would be at any sell out. It was the first game I took my boys to and they looked at me like I was an idiot when I told them at half time "Don't give up on the Grizzlies, we could still win this one."

For Dartmouth and I suspect most Ivy teams, the largest crowd was probably a sellout at the Yale Bowl (80,000) back in the glory days.

Only other stadium bigger that Dartmouth has appeared in would be Michigan in the 1950s. What the crowd was... I have no idea. I presume decent.

This has become a topic of debate on our board...it was probably at Harvard Stadium in the 1920's or 1930's when Harvard Stadium held 50K or so but there were some games in the South against LSU in the 1940's we're still trying to get figures on.

The BC-HC game regularly attracted sell out crowds at Fenway Park and Braves Field but those facilities didn't hold 50K for football.

The biggest FCS-era game was probably either BC in 1983 at Sullivan (now Gillette) Stadium not sure of the exact number but probably in the 40K area or one of the Army games in the 1980s also in the 40K range (HC won at Army in 81, 86 and 87).

Biggest home FCS-era was BC in 1986...sold out 23,500+....biggest FCS-FCS at Fitton was probably Colgate 1983...around 22K.
