Again, going to give the MVFC school the benefit of the doubt over the OVC school. Fool me once... but give me SIU.

Going to go with SDSU in the upset! Nebraska is discombobulated from the loss and the commotion about their head coach.

Also going to take USD in an upset over NAU. No idea why, everything points towards NAU winning at home, as far as I know.

IL St will be hungry to get a win on their record against a good DII program transitioning up. Probably equivalent to SDSU's win over SELA, but hopefully less doubt.

Goes without saying that NDSU will win.

Going to take UNI on the road over UNC. Perhaps in the mid 90's it wouldn't have been as sure a thing, but these days UNC is not doing well.

YSU should not have any problem with a NEC team.

Would love to pick MO St at home, but I think UCA is too strong.

Also would love to pick WIU on the road....ok fine, give me WIU.

Correct picks: SIU over SEMO, NDSU over Del St, UNI over UNC, YSU over Duq, IL St over ACU, UCA over MO St

Going with MO St. They're home, they need a win and they held UCA close last week.

Have to take NDSU over SDSU, even though it's in Brookings. SDSU got pounded by Nebraska last week and I'd like to see NDSU do the same.

Will take USD on the road. WIU seems fairly down and just got crushed last week by UNLV.

Also have to take UNI to represent the MVFC in a great battle. MSU might win the Southland this year.

Another great game should be YSU in Carbondale. I'll take SIU at home.

Then I'll almost always give the MVFC team the benefit of the doubt over an OVC school (unless it's EIU this year)

North Dakota St @ South Dakota St - I may be overlooking the Jacks or it may be hubris but I have a feeling the Bison roll in this one.
South Dakota @ Western Illinois - I'm picking this one with my gut more so than my head. I'm thinking things are turning around for the Coyotes bit by bit.
McNeese St @ Northern Iowa - McNeese has been Jeckyl and Hyde this year but I think the Panthers are too tough at home in any case.
Youngstown St @ Southern Illinois - I've had SIU as the 4th best team in the Valley since the preseason so I'll stick with them over my #5 pick.
Indiana St @ Tennessee Tech - TTU's only D1 win is a 3 pointer against a Hampton team that WIU demolished. I think the Sycs have enough to win this one on the road.
Illinois St @ Missouri St - I've been thoroughly unimpressed by the Redbirds so far this year but MSU is just too good at finding ways to lose for me to pick them.
