He's got us too high, we prefer to be lower in the rankings.

Hey! PSU has a target on their backs.

It's a comparison ranking. The more games played, the more realistic it becomes. It's too early in the season right now for the massey to make sense. Someone brings this up every year it seams.

Another thing. What happened to AGS on there? they was there last year. Thats how I found this place. Atleast Massey is good for something :)

I don't think any polls have much merit this early in the season. Too much weight given to the past and what should be rather than what is.

It'll take another 2 weeks to get a real good feel for how programs should be nationally ranked, imo.

I have no doubt that PSU is currently ranked too high. There are too many questions brought about by the injury bug to get a true read on where we stand.

Wow...

Actually it is 92, but still a WOW none the less, and maybe overrated based on the product put on the field so far. It just shows you how low a team can go if they barely beat a DII that has yet to win a game (Tarleton State), lose to a transitional I-AA that has not ever won a Div-I game on the road (Northern Colorado), and lose to a I-AA that only has wins over an NAIA and a DII (Southern Utah).

Quick question...what is the "official" poll of the Championship Subdivision? In other words what polls are the playoff picks chosen from?

That'd be ME. IF the rankings can be blatantly off early in the year, who's to say they're fine after 11 games? 120ish teams playing only 11 games is going to fix these garbage rankings? I think not.

The CSL who has UNH ranked 35th also has Monmouth ranked 4th and Wagner 9th.

Yeah, sounds like a credible source
