The two bolded points are just a little egregious, IMO.

It's surprising that every conference has UCA above UTM, but the Southland voters are especially slacking on their comparison between the two it appears. Here is a look at the two resumes:

Tennessee Martin:
Win @ Chattanooga
Loss to Boise State
Win home vs. said Central Arkansas

Central Arkansas:
Win home vs Incarnate Word
Loss to Colorado
Loss @ said Tennessee Martin

The two teams were 8-3 and 9-3 respectively last season so it's not like UT-M is coming out of nowhere this year. Plus, as previously stated Tennessee-Martin owns the head to head win. What do they have to do to get more respect? Not many teams have both one quality road FCS win and one quality home FCS win. I guess hopefully they keep it up.

I don't mind doing it once a year so that those involved can sort of set aside that their contemporaries from other conferences are trying to vote with the same sort of integrity that they would want from each of us. I really think there is a great deal of integrity in how most of you put your opinions together each week and am always very glad to see it. A damn fine group to do the work for.
