This won't affect the iconic "diamond F," but looks like a solid addition. With new unis and new logos, all we need now is for the team to start playing football again.

I would have been happier if they unveiled a new offensive scheme today.

1-2 is a WHOLE lot better than 0-3.

Don't love the secondary logo but the diamond F is still one of the best in FCS. Glad Furple got the win today but where was the offense??

Apparently just vanilla. Hard to determine whether the offense is just silent because it hasn't started conference play, or it is just silent.

I love a good pro-style running attack, but at some point, teams are going to stop the toss play behind Dakota Dozier.

I agree. That diamond F is a classic.

Back to the Art Baker I-Formation option offense?

Back to the Art Baker I-Formation option offense?

We've been running a good bit of option. Lot of I formation, lot of fullback. It looks like a "traditional" Furman offense.

Lot of between the tackles running. Three yards and a cloud of dust. Furman has managed to pop off big runs the past few weeks. Akin to throwing a lot of body blows before trying to land the haymaker. Eventually the wall will break.

Today's game was a hard game to explain. Just a bizarre football game.

C'mon they are completely different. The FU knight's hair flows to the right, not the left, and his sword is pointed up, not down, and he is not wearing red. I see no similarity at all. :D
