During the SoCon meeting this fact came up I found it to be a very interesting topic.

The Southern Conference had five former players participate in Super Bowl XXXIX, the most of any Division I-AA conference in the country.

Western Carolina's David Patten gains his third Super Bowl ring in 4 years. ...

We have had some good representation in the NFL playoffs in the last few years.

Brad Hoover started for the Panthers against the Patriots when Janet Jackson's Boob fell out.

Willie Williams duked it out for the Steelers against the Patriots this year.
