The University at Albany defense got picked apart by a redshirt freshman quarterback making his first college start last Saturday. The Great Danes turn around to face one of the best quarterbacks in the Football Championship Subdivision.
UAlbany will try to solve Colgate senior Gavin McCarney in Hamilton on Saturday night, one week after Duquesne’s Dillon Buechel completed 21 of 28 passes for 309 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-24 victory over the Great Danes in Pittsburgh.
