Shamawn Wright's 59-yard kickoff return and Tom Hemmingsen's ensuing 23-yard touchdown reception provided a highlight for UC Davis which fell to Nevada 36-7 in a nonconference football game played before 27,052 fans at MacKay Stadium on Saturday night, the first meeting between the programs in 24 years.
