Merrimack has a new coach with a strong background as an offensive coordinator, so the Warriors were not a bad team. Still, Wagner mismanaged some things and had some special teams and defensive breakdowns that cost it the game. An offsides penalty that negated what would have been a fourth and four near midfield really hurt on the last drive and I never could understand why Wagner never tried to go for two points on its last three TDs when the coaching card said that's what the Seahawks needed to do.

Northern Iowa coming off a nice win against FBS Iowa State last week is up 10-0 against lowly PFL Drake in the home opener for the Cats.

Oh, y'all certainly put some yards up on us. Our team also just decided not to play in the second half. From Brock's expressions every time the camera caught him afar the half, it looks like its going to be a rough week in practice.

Furman is going to drop the game at Coastal by 7, but there is a collective sigh of relief in Greenville.

Furman was the underdog in this one, but the offense looked monumentally better than Week 1 (welcome back Reese Hannon). Paladins could have taken the game, but hats off to a gritty Coastal team.

The Paladins aren't sexy, but if they play like they did tonight I think we'll be alright.

Our offense cannot do anything. They look even worse than last week. We are getting pushed around on both sides of the ball.

Right now, we are the last place team in the SoCon. I had some faint reservations about Higgins coming into this game (other alums have been irritated with him for longer) but if we lose this one I will likely be in the fire Higgins camp. There is no excuse for this crap.

It was pitiful. Offense looked bad, Defense looked bad, play calling is a joke. With "most" of the talent back, I lay the dismal performance to date entirely at the coaches feet. He needs to go, period.

Combination of letting up on the gas on defense and bad play calling on offense led to those 4th Quarter TDs. At times we would get great pressure, UND QB throws up a blind prayer for a completion.
