Game is on ESPN3.

First game of the year is at the half. Liberty looked sluggish on offense for most of the half, but the defense has been solid. Heisman candidate Dri Archer is out of the game and unlikely to return with an ankle injury.

Liberty takes the lead 10-7 on a TD pass from Josh Woodrum to Gabe Henderson.

It was 10-10 going into the 4th. Kent scored with about 5 to go when a Freshman safety from LU hit the Qb late (15 yards) and a CB missed a key tackle. 17-10. LU was driving when Kent made 2 big pass breakups in a row. Final 17-10 Kent.
