The suspended starters are running back Willie Matthews and offensive lineman C.J. Simon. Matthews is suspended for one game while Simon will serve a two-game suspension. Other players suspended for two games are wide receivers Jacoby Walker and Wyatt Hikins and offensive lineman Jordan Kersh.
The season hasn't even started. xblehx No idea what could have happened. Looks like a team rules thing with just those short game suspensions. I doubt we'd need them against Incarnate Word but it would be nice to have them for the next game against Colorado. xnodx
Matthews looks like a promising RB. Walker, a SEC transfer QB turned WR from two years ago rarely get the ball thrown his way. Who knows... would be nice to have a full team against everyone.
