2013 HBCU FCS All-American Preseason Team
Our 2013 HBCU Football Major Division All-American Preseason Team is full of talented student-athletes. Many of these HBCU All-Americans will face one another in key conference match-ups over the season. The SWAC features 13-All-Americans, while the MEAC has 10-members and there were two-members from the HBCU independent Tennessee State Tigers of the OVC. The Offensive Player of the Year choice is quarterback Benjamin “Ben” Anderson, 6-3 200-pounds, of the SWAC and a member of the 2012 SWAC Champion Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions. The Defensive Player of the Year pick is Jarkevis Fields, a 6-0, 230-pound senior linebacker playing for the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats and the 2012 MEAC Champions.
