Gee played in eight games with three starts and became one of the team's top impact defenders by the time he fully receovered from an injury that erased his 2011 campaign. Gee made 47 tackles with 3.5 tackles for loss and a sack, forced two fumbles, recovered one, registered an interception and broke up four passes during his 2012 season. He came on strong over the season's final four games, recording 29 tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss. Gee made a season-best eight stops against Princeton and Columbia. He had five tackles and an interception against Harvard, fored two fumbles and broke up a pass against the Tigers and had 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack against the Lions.Gee had missed a majority of his first two seasons due to injury. He missed the entire 2011 campaign with a foot injury. Gee was off to a fantastic start as a freshman, earning the starting spot at strong safety and leading the team in tackles through three contests (31). At the time, he was ranked in the top 10 nationally in tackles per game and second among all freshmen. Gee ended the year with 40 tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss and a pair of pass breakups after getting back for the final two games of the year in a limited role. In his first collegiate game, Gee had 12 tackles and a tackle for loss at Wagner. He responded with 13 tackles against Yale the following weekend and posted six stops in the win at Bucknell.

At St. Pius X
Gee was a first-team all-state selection by the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association as a senior at St. Pius X HS. He posted 85 tackles, five pass breakups and a pair of interceptions in helping his squad to a 12-1 record and a trip to the state quarterfinals. The team finished ranked third in the state and earned a regional title. The team’s two-time Defensive MVP, Gee served two seasons as team captain. The safety was selected to compete in the DeKalb County Football Coaches Association All-Star Game. Gee had 53 tackles and an interception as a junior. He also competed in basketball as a three-year letter winner, earning Defensive Player of the Year honors on the team in 2008, and played one season of varsity baseball.

Brian Clancy Gee is the son of Donald and Joan Gee and has a younger brother. His father, Donald, played baseball at Georgia Tech and his uncle, Jeff Calhoun, was a relief pitcher with the Houston Astros and the Philadelphia Phillies. Gee is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.

Plummer was an all-league selection in both football and track and field as a senior at Scarsdale HS. A running back and kick returner, he earned the team's Rich Paladino Award. In track, he earned all-county honors and placed first in the section in the long jump while also running the 100, 200 and 400 meters and competing in the triple jump and high jump. The team captain as a senior, he placed fifth in the long jump at the Emerging Elite at the New Balance outdoor national championships in 2012. Plummer also lettered three times in basketball.
