I know Sagarin is off early in the season, but :hurray: :hurray: I don't think I've ever seen a I-AA that high. Closest may be that freak year when DII UC-Davis was really high... maybe 2000?

The Sagarins are crazy early but that said, I don't think I've ever seen a I-AA that high at any point in the season. :hurray: :hurray:

Wow, that is pretty high - anyone remember a I-AA being that high in Sagarin before?

Criminies GF, now I'm starting to think that we're the same person. You and I agree way too much to have the same avatar. I read your posts and think they're mine. :p xlolx

The highest I can find since 2000 is JMU at #36 after winning the NC in 2004. UD was #40 in 2003. UC-Davis was #42 as a DII in 2000. Those are the top three. ASU was 69 last year  .

Final Sagarins:
2005 - 69. AppSt
2004 - 36. JMU
2003 - 40. Delaware
2002 - 61. WKU
2001 - 57. Montana
2000 - 42. UC-Davis, 55. GSU
1999 - 46. GSU
1998 - 64. Richmond (UMass was 65, remember they had 3 losses)

BTW, obvious A10 bias. :p

I am not arguing with UNH ranking in Sagarin, but I think I see a trend in his I-AA rankings:rolleyes:

Next in line I-AA wise:

51 Portland State
69 Montana State
75 Richmond

And what do those three have in common?

The next two
Cal Poly
UNI

Conclusion: as Ralph has told us many times, Sagarin does not consider DII games and obviously I-A games get much weight.
