CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com (http://www.bigsouthsports.com/)) – The annual Big South Conference Football Media Day is set to take place on Thursday, July 25 at the Charlotte Plaza Uptown Hotel in Charlotte, N.C. The event will kickoff the 12th season of Big South football and will feature a luncheon and interview sessions with local, regional and national media outlets beginning at 12:00pm.
As part of the event, the Conference will announce its annual preseason poll and preseason All-Conference teams in a video presentation. In addition, all six Big South head football coaches will speak at the luncheon and the preseason Players of the Year will be recognized. The preseason poll, preseason All-Conference teams and preview video will be available online at www.BigSouthSports.com (http://www.bigsouthsports.com/) beginning at 1:30pm Thursday afternoon.
Again this year, the Big South Network presented by State Farm will have free live interviews with each team’s head coach and student-athletes in attendance as part of a live show starting at approximately 1:30pm (see below for full schedule). Fans can submit questions in advance for each team at www.facebook.com/bigsouthsports (http://www.facebook.com/bigsouthsports). The Conference will also post updates on its Facebook and Twitter pages throughout the afternoon.
The following student-athletes are confirmed as attending, and will also be recognized throughout the day.

Liberty -- Josh Woodrum (QB, R-Soph.) and Cory Freeman (DL, R-Sr.)
Presbyterian College -- James Festa (OL, R-Sr.) and Donelle Williams (LB, Jr.)
