Olsen saw action in a pair of contests as a freshman in 2012, hitting both field goal attempts, including a career-long 28-yard effort in the win at Bucknell, and made 1-of-2 extra-point kicks for a total of seven points. Olsen made his collegiate debut in the win over Yale, hitting a 22-yard field goal and booting his only PAT attempt. He will attempt to earn a starting spot as a sophomore in 2013.

A four-sport athlete at Centennial HS, Olsen was an all-district scholar-athlete as a senior. He garnered the team’s special teams award in his final season after posting 61 kicking points (five field goals, 46 extra-points). Olsen also competed on the baseball, golf and soccer teams.
