last year they combined to go 3-19. Grambling went winless in conference and TSU beat them and PVU. The west (other than UAPB) sucked big time last year. PV was 3-8 and Southern was 4-7.

Don't get me wrong, didn't mean to throw smack or anything, but it was tough to watch Prairie View when they made the trip up here last year. The score was closer than the matchup was.

none taken at all. I was just pointing out how bad the other teams were last year. Hell we fired our coach two games into the season and we lost to PVU later in the season.

Wow. Yeah, the PVU game was like watching a local HS team try to hold their own. I was nervous for them for awhile. Admittedly didn't catch many of the other SWAC games last year other than some highlights, so I try to withhold my judgement.

I can't say what happened at pvu, but they were a really solid team a couple years ago.

that was a one year fling. might be another 10-15 years till that happens again.


surprised that Cameron Loeffler (Jackson State) is second team. i think he had the or one of the most tackles on the team. well, they do have him down as DB when he was more of a safety. that kind of thickens the pot. that kid stayed hitting though.
