The Portland State football team has been picked to place 10th in the 13-team Big Sky Conference preseason coaches and media polls. Montana State was picked to win the Big Sky by league media and sports information directors in one poll, and coaches in the other. In fact, the two polls are virtually identical with the exception of Weber State and UC Davis flip-flopping 11th and 12th place.
