As I posted earlier on my messageboard, I have confirmed with Georgia Southern University officials that Erk Russell passed away. Details will be forthcoming, and the University (not Sports Information) will be releasing a official press release.

The servers at TSCsports.com are being reset, they have been slow and problematic during the past hour. Hopefully our hosting company will get those problems resolved quickly. We've been swamped in the past w/ users, but the user load this morning went through the roof.

I mean out of all the hype and anticipation for this season for Erk to come back to games was going to freaking huge to everyone.

Out of all the thing that have happened since last season.
Sewak getting fired, BVG getting hired, new offense, Craft dies, and now Erk dies!?! :( :( :(
