Coach Mangurian on Jake Wanamaker: Has the physical tools to be dominant. Needs to play the game with a more physical mind set. Needs to eliminate concentration lapses. When Jake is all in, he can be a dominant receiver in this system. Has had a good spring, should help him stay healthy. Flashes ability to be a major contributor. Needs consistency in all areas.

Transferred to Columbia in 2012.

At University of Texas San Antonio: Played in eight games as redshirt freshman.

At Central Catholic San Antonio: Totaled 44 receptions and 982 yards with 14 touchdowns ... totaled 361 return yards as a safety with three interceptions and 32 tackles in just four games ... totaled nine letters, with three each in football, baseball and track.
