Coach Mangurian on Chris Connors: Productive and tough. Conditioning is a concern. Has worked hard this off-season to get himself in optimum condition. Will body catch at times, but flashes ability to catch with arms extended. Can, and will, make the tough catch. Can be an effective blocker. Needs to work on coverage recognition. Good freshman year. Came from a good high school program. Needs more consistency, better mental preparation and awareness. Can’t rest on last season.
