The transfer strategy has worked well so far. Stony Brook now has an offensive line with Arthur Doakes, 6'6", 340lbs and Michael Bamiro, 6'8", 345lbs, I'm betting Marcus Coker is liking this. Now if only we could find an FBS quarterback and wide receiver.

Our new defensive backs Derrick Morgan -UTEP and Reuben Johnson - Cincinnati will help. Both have a ton of experience

Im sure they will help. How much remains to be seen...once again, Im hoping that the expectations are pretty modest with all of them because (and I said this on CS.com about another transfer) the fact that they come from FBS does not a) make them instant starters when they get to Long Island and b) it doesnt rocket them to the top of their position in the FCS either. Looking forward to seeing how they will do but you arent getting a pair of world-conquistadores here

Ya I know, but you can't teach 6-6 340 and all that experience

It sounds like the Seawolves are ready to challenge the Blue Hens for the moniker Transfer U.

They've long since passed the Hens.

You're right and now that Shades was fired maybe the transfer trend as well as the ridiculous non-conference schedules will end.
