Portland State Head Coach Nigel Burton has hired Jaime Hill as the Viking football team's new defensive coordinator. Like Burton, Hill makes a return to the PSU football coach staff after working on the Park Blocks early in his career. Hill worked at Portland State from 1993-97 as both a secondary coach and then defensive coordinator. He was under then-Head Coach Tim Walsh as the Vikings played at NCAA Division II (1993-95), then transitioned to Division I and the Big Sky Conference (1996-97).
