Wasson ready to lead Bobcats

Chase Wasson
Replacing former Texas State University-San Marcos quarterback Barrick Nealy, the 2005 Southland Conference Player of the Year, won't be easy for the Bobcats.
But junior quarterback Chase Wasson, who started four games as a redshirt freshman, and led Southlake Carroll to an undefeated record and a Class 5A state title, says he's up for the challenge.
"I like the pressure. There's obviously going to be a lot of pressure replacing a guy like Barrick who took us to the semifinals. But I have a great surrounding cast around me. So, it's going to make my job a lot easier," Wasson said.
