Early rumors for new DC for THE CATS I'm hearing are former Clemson and Middle Tennessee DC Les Herrin. Les is a class of 1971 WCU alum and was on Clemson's staff under three coaches (Danny Ford, Ken Hatfield, and Tommy West) before being the DC for Rick Stockstill at MTSU from 06-09.

He did you a favor leaving if you ask me. I mean, I wasn't expecting Western's defense to be great this year but it was certainly the weaker half of your team. From what I saw I think you guys are getting there on offense, but defense not so much.
