It appears that you are in the running for a star Junior College running back from California's Glendale College

Collin Keoshian
6'3"
240 lbs
4.5 sec 40 yard time
450 lb bench press

has hurdled over 6 ft football players on the field during games while they were standing up

consistently jumps (dives) over players from the 5 yard line for TD's

do some research

this is a running back, not a fullback

and

broke the Glendale College rushing record for a game this year with 326 yards rushing

holds several weight lifting records at Glendale College

If true, Georgia State might now be in the running for that considering we just hired Luke Huard away as our QB Coach.

The way he holds the ball he is gonna have 100 fumbles against NDSU. Sure does look athletic though.

So put him up against defenses that have players just as talented as himself and see what his stats are. He sure looks good on film, but I think partially that is due to him being at a junior college...

With the big offensive linemen at Illinois State, he would average between 150-200 yards per game rushing and another 50 yards per game receiving if he played for them against FCS competition....

His avg. against juco defenses from behind juco blocking is 140 ypg, so putting him behind fcs blocking against fcs defenses will boost his rushing avg 10-50 ypg? Right. And those big ISU linemen are the ones that opened holes against SIU to the tune of 41 yards rushing at a 1.8 ypc clip.xeyebrowx

Frankly, if this guy is another Brandon Jacobs I'd expect a little more production in juco games. Apparently there are at least four other juco rbs in CA doing that.

Keoshian is faster, more athletic and stronger than Brandon Jacobs. He averaged 170 yards rushing per game in the last 7 games. It now appears the he will be tested this coming year by Pac 12 defenses as he could very well be UCLA's starting running back this Fall. We will know next few weeks on this.

Junior College Running Back Keoshian Signs With ISU

Keoshian rushed for 1,265 yards and 11 touchdowns last season for the Vaqueros and averaged over 140 yards per game on the ground.

Dec. 19, 2012

NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State football program and Redbird fans received an early holiday present Wednesday, when Glendale Community College (Calif.) running back Collin Keoshian signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to continue his career at ISU.

Keoshian, a native of Santa Clarita, Calif., will begin classes at Illinois State in January and will have two years of eligibility remaining with the Redbirds.

With the loss of senior running back Darrelynn Dunn, ISU head coach Brock Spack was looking for another powerful running back to fit into his offense for next season. At 6-foot-3 and 245 pounds, Spack believes he has found that player in Keoshian.

"We were looking for a big, strong back that we could use for our inside running game and Collin fits that mold well," Spack said. "He has very good ball skills to go along with his running abilities, which will allow us to throw the ball to him out of the backfield. With his size, he also gives us the opportunity to protect our quarterback better in our protection schemes. I think Collin hits a home run for us because of his abilities to excel in every aspect of what we want a running back in this offense to do, and we are excited to have him in the program."

Keoshian rushed for 1,265 yards and 11 touchdowns last season for the Vaqueros and averaged over 140 yards per game on the ground. He amassed a season-high 326 yards on the ground with three touchdowns in a 31-19 win at San Diego Mesa early in the season and two weeks later, he rushed for 186 yards and three scores against Santa Monica. Keoshian finished the year with games of 184 and 193 yards rushing, respectively.
He began his collegiate career at BYU, where he redshirted in 2010 and got experience as a member of the practice squad. He then transferred to the College of the Canyons in 2011, before his standout 2012 season at Glendale Community College.

Keoshian was a standout player during his prep career at Santa Clarita Christian School, which competed as an eight-man football program. In his four-year career, Keoshian tallied 6,537 rushing yards and 102 touchdowns on the ground. His yardage total is second-most all-time in the state in eight-man football and his touchdown total is a state record in the eight-man division.

You are setting yourself up for disappointment with these expectations. Even if he is a BCS talent and a future pro, the rest of the team will have a lot to say about his production. He will only be 1/11th of the offense.
