RMUColonials.com recently had a chance to sit down with senior defensive lineman Nolan Nearhoof (Gibsonia, Pa. / Mars Area) of the Robert Morris University football team. Nearhoof discussed his recent trip to New York City to be honored as one of 15 National Football Foundation (NFF) National Scholar-Athletes and also touched on how he intends to use his $18,000 postgraduate scholarship. He also talked about the importance of balancing academics with football and selects his favorite football accomplishment, a category from which there are many to choose (three-time Academic All-American, Northeast Conference (NEC) Defensive Player of the Year, Robert Morris & NEC all-time sack leader to name a few).
