The Wofford football team was defeated 24-17 by Samford in the second overtime period on Saturday afternoon at Seibert Stadium. The Terriers scored a touchdown with 1:52 left in the game, but the Bulldogs tied it with a touchdown and two-point conversion as time expired. Both teams missed field goals in the first overtime, but Samford scored a touchdown in the second that Wofford could not match.
