The Northeast Conference football game between Central Connecticut and Monmouth, scheduled for Saturday at Monmouth, has been cancelled because of Hurricane Sandy. Efforts were made to move the game to Arute Field in New Britain, but Monmouth officials ultimately decided it was best not to play.
