Isn't JMU 6-2 and not 5-3?

I expect Maine to beat JMU; I also expect UNH/W&M to be within 7 points.

I corrected the two records, for some reason I decided to try it all in my head, rather than double check.

I expect UNH to lose to W&M until I see us beat them with my own eyes. I don't care if UNH is 10-0 and W&M is 0-10.

Towson @ Delaware - Season on the line for both teams, but UD came together well against ODU, just couldn't quite pull it off. Homefield advantage tips this one.

William & Mary @ New Hampshire - UNH is a toss up with ODU for best team in the CAA this year.

James Madison @ Maine - JMU barely scraped by GSU, and Maine is no joke this year, they've played better than the record indicates.

Old Dominion @ Georgia State - Battle of the FBS transition teams, and boy oh boy will it be a showcase of how and how not to do it...

Rhode Island @ Richmond - I feel bad for Rhody. They decide to stick it out in the CAA and now possibly get a winless season to show for it.

Ok here is a different spin considering it is real close to election time:

Towson @ Delaware - Swift boating at it's very best. Delaware will win but not by much.
William & Mary @ New Hampshire - Blue State win here, there is no party for the green or gold team colors.
James Madison @ Maine - Toss up state and game here. I think Maine will win by one point.
Old Dominion @ Georgia State - Landslide win by the ole Virginians
Rhode Island @ Richmond - Red state win, those Spiders on a mission.

I would have said this a few weeks ago, but we were as bad as I've ever seen against Maine, huge letdown after the performance at JMU. UNH takes this one, this year.

Towson 28 @ Delaware 24
William & Mary 27 @ New Hampshire 38
James Madison 24 @ Maine 22
Old Dominion 56 @ Georgia State 28
Rhode Island 10 @ Richmond 42

Toughest pick week of the season.

Towson @ Delaware 27-24 Delaware at home makes it very close, but there are just too many injuries (especially Andrew Pierce), for the Hens. Even so, if the turnover bug bites Towson, this could go to Delaware.

W&M @ UNH 24-38 Will the downright spooky W&M mastery of UNH continue? Ortiz may be the future for William and Mary if he doesn't kill himself first. The Tribe keeps it close early, but the defense eventually wears down.

JMU @ Maine 17-27 The JMU offense is moving in the wrong direction, and the defense is inconsistent. I am not sure if JMU has slipped, or if opposition coaches have picked up some things. Birdsong will be a fine QB in the future, but IMO he is not ready yet. The outcome of this game rests with DeQuan Scott (shoulder, ankle); JMU's only consistant offensive threat. He has to be 100% for JMU to win. Maine doesn't seem to have a home field advantage. Still...UM in a close one.

ODU @ GSU 48-17 ODU continues to tweak running game and the defense continues it's improvement. With it's best RB Donald Russell out for the season with an injury, this is a bad matchup for GSU. GaST QB Ben McLane is an accurate passer but not a runner. ODU's weakness against the run and running QBs will not be a factor. Pressure should keep McLane from consistantly connecting with GaSt's only deep threat; WR Albert Wilson. GSU's best hope is to isolate linebackers in underneath coverage.

URI @ Richmond 10-48 What? The Richmond turnaround from last year has been nothing short of astounding. Almost as bizarre as the near total collapse of Liberty from last year. Hmmmmm.

Maine over JMU Perfect storm in Orono could end the Dukes CAA hopes
UNH over W&M Tribe will have little motivation in Durham
Richmond over URI If this were at Rhody, well maybe not. Spiders off bye week have a good chance to win out rest of the season
Towson over Delaware Home field means nothing, ask Maine how hard it was to win in Newark, it's not Baton Rouge
ODU over Ga St Boring Boring Boring Nice game to rest the injured

Since Nov. 17, 2007, UNH is 23-2 at Cowell Stadium. Both defeats came at the hands of William & Mary: 38-34 on Oct. 11, 2008, and 13-3 on Nov. 6, 2010. The latter loss snapped UNH's school-record 12-game home winning streak. Coach Mac is 0-9 vs the Tribe.

Im with the others, Ill take W&M until i see otherwise....

Now that everyone is picking UNH to win, I am worried that we will lose. What the hell all of you?

Well, no matter. I expect a victory. I don't want to see a UNH loss again this season.

The last team besides W&M to beat UNH in Durham was Northeastern 5 years ago to the date this Saturday. November 3, 2007. I remember that game. We had a nor'easter...no one was there and it was soaked...yucky game. 28-3 since the beginning on 2007 at home.

Go Cats!
