I do not recall a voter explaining things like this in the past. This guy says he cruises web sites to get him some help in making his poll. Perhaps he's over here on AGS checking things out.

I-AA football picks: A little cheating and a lot of guessing
By BRIAN NIELSEN, Sports Editor

High school and college prepared me for this job.

I guessed on tests, too.

So when the e-mail comes telling me that my picks for The Sports Network’s NCAA Division I-AA preseason rankings are due, that means it is time to copy from Web sites when no one is looking and make some guesses the rest of the time.

Years ago, studying might have paid. In NCAA I-AA football, I’m not so sure.

Too many variables like transfers, chemistry and just the bounce of the ball make this a futile exercise.

Fortunately, this is not like major college football when polls matter.

If Savannah State transforms from its 0-11 season in 2005, it could make the I-AA’s 16-team playoffs and earn a championship on the field in December.

Geez, 3 trips to the NC in 6 years and he says the Griz haven't lived up to expectations lately? Another guy picking our downfall in the pre season, happens every year.

Mr. Neilsen needs to spend a lot more time on AGS to improve his ability to rank I-AA football.xidiotx
