Congratulations to our rival State University, Albany for cracking the Sports Network Poll for the first time. The dominoes fell, and Albany finally got its well deserved spot. If I'm not mistaken, this is also the first time the Northeast Conference has a ranked team in both major polls (Coaches/TSN). Exciting times for Albany & Stony Brook and the future CAA. A rematch of last year's first round playoff to cap the 2012 season would be awesome. I remain hopeful!

with all that said. GO SEAWOLVES!

Cal Poly 11? xeyebrowx It may be slightly low ,but you need to look at who has Cal Poly beaten that even sniffing the top 25. Sacramento State will be their first real test versus every team ahead of them who has had multiple team test them already.

Whoever voted for Harvard as #1 last week must have switched his vote to Stony Brook this week.

True, but the real reason is they started the year ranked around #40. If they started the year rank in the top 25 they would be a top 5 team now.

Stony Brook has gotten a first place vote the past two weeks on the TSN Poll

Let me qualify this by saying Towson is a fine football team with some very good athletes and a brutal schedule.

That said, it's late October and they have a losing record. They should not be ranked.

#CAAFB is the only league to ever have 7 teams ranked in The Sports Network Top 25 Poll. This week marks the 20th time that has happened. 2013 league members Stony Brook & Albany are also ranked in this week's poll.

The voters seems very hesitant to drop Towson just like UNI.
