It is two hours before kickoff, but Mr. C is here at Princeton Stadium for what should be an intriguing afternoon of football. It is my first of two games on Saturday. I'll be heading down to Towson for a CAA battle between a different group of Tigers against high-scoring Old Dominion this evening.

There is a little bit of residual water on the bleachers and on the seats for the rain of yesterday, but that should evaporate quickly on a bright, sun-kissed day. I had a stunningly beautiful, 45-minute drive over from the northeast Philly suburbs this morning. The leaves are in full color, with a predominant Princeton orange to them.

For those of you asking the question of how good Harvard is, I hope to be able to answer that question for you as I get my first look at the Crimson today. As always, it is always more fun when we get readers giving their feedback and asking questions. The more interchange, the better.

I'm curious to see exactly how good Princeton is. I've watched them twice. Against Georgetown they looked terrible, against Brown they looked dominant. I'm pretty sure I know how good Harvard is.

I think Princeton is starting to improve. This is a young team that is going to keep getting better, though Harvard will be quite the task today. If you ask the Harvard people ... they think they are pretty good (laughs).

We're about 40 minutes from game time now, with both teams going through pre-game drills.

One of my favorite things about coming to Princeton Stadium is the anticipation of what great homemade soup they will have in the press box (maybe the best press box in FCS, BTW). Today, in "honor" of Harvard, it's New England Clam Chowder, with big chunks of Princeton Orange Carrots included. As good as always. There are also the Princeton boxed lunches (today, I'm having a chicken salad sandwich, with sea salt chips and the famous Princeton bake shop chocolate chip cookies. No complaints here.

The Penn-Yale game is an important one in these parts, considering Princeton, Penn and Harvard are the only three undefeated teams in Ivy League play.

You are right. I heard that there was a huge amount of folks on the guest list for Connecticut-born Penn coach Al Bagnoli (as there always is). Should have remembered that, considering I was at Franklin Field for the Yale-Penn game last season. The Yale fans booed the Toast Toss at the end of the third quarter.

These are two very solid football teams. Not sure if the both should be ranking, i know you're being sarcastic, but they shouldn't be ignored either.

Cannot say how proud of the guys I am. They never gave up. Looked like it was going to be a blowout but they never stopped playing.

I think Harvard is an incredible team that just left enough of an opening for an up and coming Princeton squad to storm back. Harvard has some serious NFL talent at certain places (start with that incredible TE Kyle Juszczyk).

I'm extraordinarily proud of the Tigers today. Everything had to fall into place in the fourth quarter, and it did. Just goes to show that you CAN come back from a 34-10 deficit against a (maybe not for long) ranked team.

This was simply incredible to watch in person. My 16-year-old daughter was taking photos for a football game for the first time and it definitely left an impression on her, too. Now I have to put that game into words. One of the best comebacks I've ever seen and against a Harvard team that is scary good. With the way Towson was knocking at the door against Old Dominion, I thought for a few minutes I might get two incredible comebacks in one day. I can't tell you how draining those games were to watch.

I'm sure Go...gate has a different view, but in my mind it should never have happened. Yale had a 4th and 2 at the Princeton 20 yard line up 31-28 with 2 minutes, maybe less left in the game, and Princeton either out of timeouts or only one left. Rich Diana had already rushed for 220+ yards. And the Yale defense had not stopped Holly and Graham the whole second half. Everyone knew that Yale would give the ball to Diana to try and get the 2 yards and clinch the game. Everyone except Cozza who foolishly called for a FG attempt, which would have put them up by only 6 against a team who was unstoppable at that point.

Of course the FG was missed, Princeton went right down the field and scored the TD for the win. I won't even complain about the bogus interference call in the end zone against Yale because the Tigers would have scored anyway.

Ruined what should have been an undefeated season for Yale........not that I remember much about the game.

I'm not sure about Yale. Don't know how they won yesterday, but they were a bad team when I saw them against LC. At least Princeton was going to make a game of it vs Harvard (though not win), I doubt Yale will make a game of it against the Johnnies.

At halftime of the Lehigh game, I saw Harvard 20, Princeton 0, and I saw the Tigers going absolutely nowhere, so I shut it off, wondering "Why am I watching a game where Harvard has a three-score lead?" Then I come home, and I see the score. Absolutely stunning.

There were some signs that Princeton might have a nice season when I saw them play Lehigh, but the horrible loss to Georgetown seemed to say, "same old Tigers". Now it's clear, though, that this Princeton team is different, and seem awfully well situated to win the Ivy League title.

Having thought about it overnight, this is the worst Harvard loss in my lifetime in terms of chokes. Worse than 2000 Cornell, where we took a whole half -- not just 11 minutes-- to blow a four-touchdown lead.

Having thought about it overnight, this is the worst Harvard loss in my lifetime in terms of chokes. Worse than 2000 Cornell, where we took a whole half -- not just 11 minutes-- to blow a four-touchdown lead.

It was a lot like Yale's loss to Princeton in '81 (all the Princeton people seem to say that yesterday's game is their biggest upset since then). A superior team that hasn't been pressed much all year blows a big lead, loses the momentum, makes some crucial mistakes, and has one critical 4th down coaching decision that could have saved the day. Oh, and forgets how to play defense for a half.

Surprised you deduced that watching those two games. And then there was the LC game. If it weren't for the Gtown loss Id rank them now.

I'm a big believer in teams needing to "learn how to win", and in the G'Town game I just felt like they hadn't learned how to win yet, and it seemed like it was the type of loss that could throw everything off the rails. I couldn't be more pleased to be wrong, though.

I'm not surprised they made the game vs. Harvard a game, since they are their biggest rival after Yale, and as you point out, they beat you guys handily, and gave Georgetown and us all we could handle. But after falling behind so far, who could see in them the fortitiude to come down from so far back? Few teams can, in all honesty.

Watched the 4th quarter of the game on ESPN3. Just incredible. Would love to see Princeton run the table.

At halftime of the Lehigh game, I saw Harvard 20, Princeton 0, and I saw the Tigers going absolutely nowhere, so I shut it off, wondering "Why am I watching a game where Harvard has a three-score lead?" Then I come home, and I see the score. Absolutely stunning.

There were some signs that Princeton might have a nice season when I saw them play Lehigh, but the horrible loss to Georgetown seemed to say, "same old Tigers". Now it's clear, though, that this Princeton team is different, and seem awfully well situated to win the Ivy League title.

The loss to Georgetown wasn't a horrible loss. Georgetown hit a field goal at the end to win a very tight game that Princeton showed some promise in. If it hadn't been for Princeton's kicking game, the Tigers would have won that one.

You would think it would be Columbia, but Columbia fans, for me anyway, are surprisingly annoying.

I never pull for any other Ivy team to win the league. I only hope Penn does not.
