There is another thread asking who is the best FCS QB and after reading it, it appears that two different men are the favorites of most of the posters. Andre Broadous is also mentioned in one or more posts, but is mostly ignored.

I do not claim that Andre Broadous is the best FCS QB, but an article in the San Luis Obispo Tribune about Andre is worth reading. Find that article here ...

Broadous is an underrated quarterback playing now in a conference full of great quarterbacks. We should have had him at Portland State (and we thought we did). Just a great kid and great player. There is a reason why Cal Poly is still undefeated. It usually starts with great quarterback play.

I agree with that, the only reason we aren't undefeated is the lack of great quarterback play in one game.

Certainly happy that Portland St did not get this kid. He is not the best FCS QB. However, I have never seen a QB at Cal Poly in my life who plays with more heart....never. I have never seen a QB at Cal Poly who makes better decisions with the ball ever. There will be many Cal Poly folks who will disagree, they will remind me of 2008 and Cal Poly great Jonathan Dally. Dally was an amazing QB, he played with other amazing players Ramses Barden and James Noble among others. Broadous is the QB you want when nobody thinks you can win, when you are beaten, when its 4th and long and the game on the line. He always thinks he can win. I love that in a QB

For those who may not be familiar with him.....there was play he made as sophomore against Fresno State in a loss that sums up his game. Despite the fact that he ran about 50 yards I think it went for a one yard....never gave it up. Check this video at the 2:55 mark
