Don't seem suprise, Sagarin doesn't know the difference between a loss and a win. Crappy rankings!!

Can anyone who really understands the numbers tell me what it is that the Sagarin ratings hate about the OVC? Is it strength of schedule? Is it that the OVC isn't in the top 15 in any of the polls?

The OVC has some wins this year over teams in the MVC, SoCon and other conferences. The OVC might even be above .500 in non-conference FCS play. UT-Martin beat Memphis. I know none of these teams are Michigan, but it seems to me that the OVC is having one of its best years in 20 years.

I'm sure some wiseacre will come along with a "because the ovc sux," quote and drop a smug emoticon... so let me just get that out of the way first so we can move on to discuss the numbers. xbadx <- smug emoticon
