Maybe I am a bit paranoid, but I'm thinking that not all injuries that happen in football are accidents. I think players and coaches alike make it a mission to try to get certain guys who pose a threat to their team off the field sometimes. I call that "playing dirty" but I'm sure some teams will do it in a heartbeat to gain an advantage. I'm not at all suggesting that any of Wofford's previous opponents were doing this against the Terriers, but I think it durty and unsportsmanlike of any team that does engage in these practices.

Yep, usually when one or both of the teams are running that "gimmick" TO offense :D

(and yes, it's a joke :))

I sense you are being a tad facetious here, but I'll ask anyway- why would the TO have anything to do with wanting to cause another team to get injuries? What difference does the offensive style being run make? I could see a great receiver be just as much of a target for a defense as a great RB.

Cut blocking increases the probability of defenders getting injured.
