Hmm...

I'll have my take here:

North Dakota State will remain as the champion. (barring any injury or further offenses)

Run will end in the playoffs
Montana State (semifinals?)
Cal Poly (1st or 2nd round)
Old Dominion (1st or 2nd round)
Tennessee State (2nd or 3rd round)
Lehigh (2nd or 3rd round)
Wofford (1st or 2nd round)

Harvard will, of course, end the regular season as the undefeated champion. :) Alabama A&M, good chance of ending the season undefeated too.

Winning: NDSU.

Losing: SSU, G-State. It's too bad these two teams aren't playing each other this year. They could compete for the Sherman Cup to decide the worst thing to happen to the state of Georgia since the 1860s.

It shuld be noted I was asking who could finish the regular season undefeated.

As for the Missouri Valley teams, NDSU appears to have a great shot at running the table, although it may be best for them to slip up and lose one prior to the playoffs (i.e. YSU last year) to serve as a "wake up call" if they are going to repeat as Champs.

On the other side of the coin, Missouri State will not go winless this season. The Bears have been knocking on the door over the past few weeks, and they have USD at home next week. I expect them to get in the W column for the first time this year, but it will be a hard fought game for sure.

They seem pretty "awake" to me, but I know what you mean. ;)

I think Davidson has what it takes to go winless, though a trip to Valparaiso might stand in the way of their goal.

I've updated the original post to include this week's opponents. In the excitement of the voucher drop at the Georgia dome, I overlooked a few teams who are still perfect and have added them to the list. This week's big match up seems to be Georgia State visiting Rhode Island.

Note...Alabama A&M ends their regular season with a game against Auburn.

I think all survive next week. Cal Poly has the toughest road with games at EWU and at NAU, Tennessee State's challenge is at Tennessee Martin, Lehigh seems could be beaten in any of there last three games after their 10/27 bye. I don't see Harvard being challenged.

The first final is in and another unbeaten goes down. TSU's kicker nails a 42 yard field goal on the last play of the game to win, but it is wiped out by a penalty. The rekick from 47 is no good so it goes to overtime.

TSU gets the ball first and misses a 42 yard field goal. The Gamecocks get the ball and make a field goal to win the game.

Best chances to end perfection:

Cal Poly - @ EWU - 11/3 OR @ NAU - 11/17
Lehigh - @ Laffy - 11/17
URI - vs. Maine - 11/17
Austin Peay - vs. Culver-Stockton - 11/3
Valpo - vs. Davidson - 11/10 (but no remaining game vs. a team with a record better than 2-5)

Looking at the remaining games, I say Lehigh and URI will be perfect at year end. Cal Poly has two ROUGH ROAD games left, AP has a non-D1 game, and Valpo, no matter how TERRIBLE they are, I feel they have 4 real decent chances left where the ball can bounce their way.

Colgate brushes away the last of the unbeatens, while the Rhodies continue to keep the dream alive. Their last game is against 4-6 Maine. Yesterday, Maine beat Georgia State 51-7 to send Bill Curry into retirement. Georgia State's only win this year was 41-7 over Rhode Island. Looks like they have a good chance to finish off the perfecto next week.
