Can't ask for much of a better 1st quarter. Only negative was the JJ INT. Playing very well so far on both sides of the ball.

Nice to see the Neers getting their collective acts together so far so good. Good output by the offense in the first half.

Hard to believe Furman dropped a turd at home against these beach chickens.

Agreed, that and the fight they gave Toledo. Although who would have said App would lay the turd they did at home to your Bulldogs this year? Must be something in the water......

Yeah, I think Coastal is a better team than they are showing today... and we're a better team than we showed against the Citadel.

Sam Martin with the nice TD saving open field tackle on the kickoff (returner will have to live down being run down by the kicker).

ASU - 684 yards total offense, highest total since gaining 712 in a 52-16 win over Georgia Southern on Oct. 24, 2009......wow.

Toledo ONLY put 402 on them in their 38-28 win against CCU last week

Crazy I see^. Old school Yosef is hugely better than the Gordon's fisherman.

I bet all you App boys are really wishing you had the Cid game to do over again. The more and more I think about it, the more I think that the drubbing we gave you was as much a self-inflicted wound on y'alls part as it was to some opportunistic execution on our part.

Damn right we do. I knew this team would struggle early in the year, but that was a whoopin'

If we'd have played well, it would have been a close game. El Cit was playing out of this world on that day.

Well, I think that play was actually a forward pass & then a pitch by the receiver. But, it was pretty cool.

Eh, football is a crazy sport. I still think if ASU and El Cid played 10 times in a row this year that the Bulldogs would win at least 6.

Oh no doubt, I think we had you in any event (most likely), but it would not have been quite as painful and way too close if you guys had had it together a little better, like you apparently do now.;)

At the end of the year, we may look back and see the ASU/Citadel game as being very beneficial for both sides. It sure looks to to have given Appalachian an added fire that they seemed to be missing. I think The Citadel goes 4-2 down the stretch and if they sit at 7-4, the win in Boone will clearly pay dividends when the playoff committee meets.
