Senior punter Thomas Duyndam was surprised by only one thing when he came to Portland State from Melbourne Australia…well, maybe two. “The biggest difference between there and here is the emphasis on your sport in school. In Australia, you don't work every day. Here, it's your life. Your life is pretty much football,” said the 6'4” 215-pound punter and first Australian ever to play for the Vikings.
