I know your post is to crack on Chattown, but actually, that isn't too far from the truth. Though they didn't really call off the dogs until they got to that magical number "28" :)

They went up 21-0 in less than 12 minutes...and then started trying all kinds of things (including letting Robinson run the offense). They also ended drives at the end of both halves inside the 5 yard line...the last series of the game they were on the 2 and took a knee two (or maybe 3) times to run the clock out (the last series the 3rd string QB took the team down the field...I actually wish they would have punched one in for him, the kid has barely seen the field over 4 years).

Mocs piled up 477 yards of offense, Glenville had 78. I believe they only got to mid-field once and that was on a muffed punt.

TD ISU-R...the Redbirds win 54-51 in 2 OTs.

ISU QB Matt Brown: 42 of 57, 473 yds, 5 Passing TDs, 2 rushing TDs. Game was marred by crappy officiating as 32 penalties were called. 22 on ISU for 179 yds. EIU's first possession in OTvwas two Pass Interference calls, a DEF holding and an offsides call. I never saw more phantom PI calls in my life. Easily worst officiating ever. At one point EIU scored a TD and maybe had all of 12 yards in actual offense. Clearly these guys liked the sound of their own whistles.

22 penalties AT HOME one week after beating Eastern Michigan on the road and having zero penalties for an entire game.

Oh well, we beat EIU and the officials in the end. 3-0.

Holy ****, the second half of the Weber/McNeese game is entertaining. Weber puts together a TD drive, makes it 14-7 Cowboys. McNeese starts driving, fumbles and turns it over near midfield. Weber throws a pick next play at the 10 yard line. McNeese runs for a 90 yard TD on an endaround VERY next play. 21-7 Cowboys. LMFAO
